Cozart Manor

Cozart Manor is named for the family who lived here for approximately 120 years. Late nineteenth century alterations to the 1825 four square house include Neo-classical and Eastlake Style interior and exterior architectural embellishments. The four-over-four Georgia plan of the original house is evident, although the kitchen, bath, and service rooms have been added. Near the southwest corner of the house, a demi-octagonal bay extending the full height of the house was also constructed in the late nineteenth century. The new owners are currently refreshing the home and making it their own.
